It's Wednesday! Happy Christmas Eve-Eve!

Hi loves. It’s just quietened down after a MANIC hour. How are people injuring themselves when there’s nothing opening and it’s raining :D
 
I think this Christmas is going to be odd. I'm stoned off my box, my mother is apparently on opiods, my Dad has dementia and Mr Ag will be pretending not to drink.
 
This is my last working day of the...week. I'm in Mon-Thurs next week. Harumph.
 
This is my last working day until tomorrow, when I will also be working.

I don't really see the point of time off at Christmas anyway. I'd rather use my holiday days for when it's busier at work and/or I can go on a proper holiday (oh :( )
 
The music today is epic! We've had Sophie B Hawkins, Wendy Moten and Cher in the last 15 minutes.
 
I’ve finished for the year now (apart from some paperwork tomorrow)

I’m letting the good times roll now by watching The Bridges of Madison County for the first time

thanks for asking Reet! Not a great deal, Christmas in Japan is more of a date day, New Year is the family time. I’m single and my family are in the UK, so it’s a weird time.

but one of my ex-students asked me to go see Wonder Woman on Christmas Day, because his friends are all hanging out with their girlfriends. I never got any gay vibes off him but it seems a little odd about the timing. He’s kind of young and probably going to move in Spring, but it does make me wonder “what if...?”

Lol I don’t think it’ll be like that. I have invited him over before - not because I thought anything would happen, but because I didn’t really want to eat out these days, and I’m POOR anyway, but he has very obviously avoided that option. So I don’t know.

I’ve been to the public baths with him, I don’t think I’ll get porked THAT much :D

The weather is DREADFUL. Driving home everywhere all the roads were flooded and the M1 looked to be at a STANDSTILL.

Anyway home for Christmas now so :santa:
 
So, they've chosed 23rd December to do a big ol' desk-moving exercise. I mean, REALLY. Considering the date and the R-rate, this is NOT CORRECT.

Also trying to find the least horrific time to try and grab what few beers will be left on the shelves...
 
There was just a lovely RAINBOW here in Tier 4. I took a pic but rainbows never come out well. :(

I have literally done nothing at work today. Currently staring at my unwrapped presents thinking about doing something valuable with my time.
