And what are essential reasons for meeting someone else outdoors? Apart from handover of shared custody children.
 
I think in Scotland it was up to 6, or it was in parts of the country anyway
 
Got a message in the work group chat about whether we're going in tomorrow, with my manager deciding we were (in the same message where he asked what we thought :eyes:). This was before the statement in parliament though, so we'll see what happens :evil:

Scotland were allowed 6 people from up to 2 households to meet outside before.
 
I don't think I can do this again. Not in the freezing cold, in the dead of winter. It was bad enough dodging all the junkies and jakies in broad daylight.
 
It's going to come out that the Tories strung out Covid on purpose so that they could blame it for the economic collapse that Brexit will bring. Mark my words.
 
Indie in August: My birthday in January will be fine, yay, I look forward to a long day of pub with friends
Indie in November: Well, that's not happening. I'll book a weekend at the coast because numbers are looking ok in the north at the moment
Indie in late December: Balls, that's cancelled. I'll just go on a long country walk with Mrs. Indie.
Indie today: Well, fuck. I'll concentrate on trying to not throw myself out the window on my birthday.

It would be very Boris to let kids go back for a day and then announce a lockdown wouldn't it? What a fucking shambles.
 
Hopefully you guys don’t get curfewed like us in NI. I feel like I should be allowed to go a cycle or run after 8pm as they’ve closed the gyms.

Same here.
My youngest thought the same all last year. He laughed at all our lockdown birthdays and now today is his birthday and we are all self isolating so can't even leave the house. :D:evil:
 
I fully expect that I won't be allowed to leave my bedroom for my birthday in April

After being alone on my 40th, at this rate I'm not going to be able to celebrate my 41st either :)
 
Apparently we are moving to threat level 5 with healthcare services are severe risk of being overwhelmed.

That's really shit. On first lockdown I went out jogging 9.30-10pm sort of time as during other times it was too busy and I didn't like getting into people's way that were out for walks and many whom seemed a bit nervous of runners etc. I
 
I guess it would also fuck over people who like to do their shopping late at night to avoid the crowds.

Yes true plus sometimes i wouldn’t be ready to go until then having worked all day and had to get to supermarket etc before 8 too. I was out after 8 on Friday and was thinking of my excuses for if I got stopped the whole time.

It's a harsh lesson but at least he's learning it while he's still a lad.
 
Which reminds me can America please vaccinate DIANA ROSS as their TOP PRIORITY seeing as that gig looks likely to pushed back ANOTHER YEAR.
