Good morning from sunny Spain :)

Oh yes I forgot to add, I only want snow like that if it's my day off work :D
 
Morning! Something ODD is happening at work. One of the directors text me at 8pm last night to schedule a zoom call on Tuesday and when I asked what it’s concerning they just said WORK (we never have zoom calls) I initially thought it was ABOUT ME but then all mention of the other director has been noticeably SCRUBBED from our email signature. It’s all very annoying as I know something serious is going on but why make me aware of it on a FRIDAY NIGHT!

I know this is hardly your point, but someone I used to work with was awful for putting meetings in the calendar and calling them "meeting" or "12:00 catch-up". Used to really rile me! :D

Very annoying they couldn't wait till Monday to schedule it... Do you have the sort of relationship where you can tell them it's making you worried can they just give you a heads up?
 
I text the other director saying can you tell me what the meeting is about it’s making me a little anxious but got no reply! That was before I noticed he’d been SCRUBBED from our online presence though.

The last real job I had was for a guy who was constantly falling out with his mate/business partner/co-director. He rang me up pissed once and asked if I had 6 grand lying around to buy the other guy out. Maybe its something like that?
 
Where in Spain are you @Alla? I always find Spanish streets jarring when they aren’t drenched in sun despite the fact I’ve actually seen it in the flesh. I really want to go skiing in Sierra Nevada

Very center of Madrid. Airport is closed, trains stopped yesterday and I doubt anything opens today. Worst temporal in the city ever (well in the last century and a half at least). We already have 14", which is too much, only @Lucille can manage that.

Bollocks, Bandcamp have worked out that they need to keep charging VAT on downloads in the UK. That was saving me a few quid, so it was.
 
@ZenGiraffe As an obvious lover of all things giraffe I feel it's my duty to inform you of the Giraffecam at Animal Adventure Park. My friend and I (for shame) spent six weeks watching the livestream of April the giraffe when she was pregnant and we eventually saw the calf being born (it was disgusting, turn off if that starts happening). Has it stopped? This is freak weather, right? I just checked the weather in Madrid and it is saying lows of up to -12 over the next few days. Do you not usually get balmy winters?

We never had this in the 150 years they have registered, not even close. Not snowing now, but I guess tomorrow it's going to be all ice, not liking that at all.

Yes I did, but not anything close to this, it's been insane and wonderful. Last time we had proper snow in Madrid was 2009, but nothing like this.
