JEANS NEWS: This morning I was working with a retractable knife, and have managed to somehow make a big hole in my pocket by accidentally not fully retracting it :(

Move back to SCOTLAND. At least the Scots only steal things worth stealing.
 
Had to brave Asda this morning as I couldn't get a delivery and needed dog food. It was really quite heartbreaking, not many shoppers, which was good, but their average age was probably about 78, ie. OAPs who can't use the internet and probably only have landlines. :(

In my experience of pensioners, half of those there will be going out of sheer bloody stubbornness as much as any other reason.

there are 7 apartments in the building, I haven’t met many of them f2f because of covid but they seem friendly in the group chat

the agent seems shit though

Well the DREADED zoom meeting was fine and all in my head, turns out im just going onto full furlough for a couple of months and they are no longer topping up my salary which is FAIR ENOUGH I guess. I think Im gonna stick it out at my parents for a few months rather than waste money on rent in London just to be STUCK IN THE HOUSE. This is actually quite good for me as I will finally pay off my overdraft, which I NEVER thought possible. It also means when I do get back to London I can afford a nicer place.
 
I've had a BETTY BOO afternoon and it has PERKED ME RIGHT UP :disco:

im waiting for two Christmas presents to be delivered to people at home. Weirdly my mum’s one which was sent a week later got there a while ago. It’s been over a month now!

I am not buying this whole “stay with my parents to save money” line. WHO HAVE YOU GOT YOUR EYE ON?
