I notice Pitchfork made it their #57 song of the decade. god that song is everything. if she came out with it now as the lead single to her next album it would make total sense, so I guess you could say it was "ahead of its time" :eyes:

It took about two years to grow on me, but it's so good! That and "So it Goes..." are so slept on.

I like "All too Well", but I don't rate it among her all time bests I'm afraid. Maybe top 50? I much prefer the build up in "Treacherous" over it.

Don't Blame Me is incredible in all of its brazen Hozier-ripoff glory. great vocal. I also love Gorgeous and (shamefully) This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things :disco:
 
I'm attempting this and its so hard! The different stages of her career are so different and hard to compare to each other. Country Taylor, Pop Taylor, and "folk" Taylor are almost like three different artists. Also songs that I first heard when I was 12 vs. songs I heard when I was 25. I'll post later, but its just harder than I thought it would be.

it really is a stronger work front to back. and I think the production is more to my tastes too.

it was either that or Wildest Dreams! :D

idk how to say this without sounding condescending but Joanne (the album, not the aunt) has given me a penchant for real instruments (real music).
