I'm due a phone upgrade later this month. Think I'm going to switch to a sim only contract and ride this one into the ground first though.

Mind you, I'm sure I said that last time and then my phone MYSTERIOUSLY DIED within about 6 weeks.

A little, but I’ve still got my trackies on. She’s currently got to put on a pantomime in just over 24 hours for children from Dr Barnado’s so is a bit inappropriate.

The vulnerable children aren’t on screen yet. They’ll only appear at the end of the episode. But oh, the anticipation!

I think that you should just do what you can, when you can, I know that a lot of working parents are in the same boat. I heard a similar story from my work friend and her little boy's only five. Try not to get too stressed about it because lots of parents aren't doing the schoolwork at all (my cousin being one of them, but that's because she's a lazy fat fuck). Little ron is young and from what you've said about him he's an intelligent kid so he isn't going to be left behind and it'll be far better for his own mental health if mum and dad aren't stressed to fuck trying to teach him because he'll learn nothing other than resentment from that.

Ta. I ate some weed brownies and drank wine and now I don’t give a shit. We’ll teach him the things he needs to know.
 
Aren’t there lots of school programmes on iPlayer you can just force them to watch?
 
He’s 8. He needs teaching. He only started English school in January, so he’s done about 5 months of school in his life. He’d managed to get up to his year level in 3 months of in school and the rest at home, but its getting to the point now where he needs to be taught if hes going to keep up. And worse still, because school is exciting the little bastard now wants to not just go to school but pass his 11 plus and get in a grammar school. No pressure as a parent to help him achieve that goal.
