I think we had this conversation maybe a year or so ago in the Gaga forum and somebody pointed out that it was like the biggest, boldest statement single ever. explosively massive new pop legend returns after 1.5 albums, deliberately sheds her cool factor and puts out a huge FLAG WAVING HOMOSEXUAL ANTHEM as her comeback single.

I absolutely love it - one of the pop songs of the decade in terms of cultural impact and ongoing conversation.

and it's just ALL HOOKS ALL THE TIME. uttery relentless.

the video - some iconic lewks (I absolutely love the skeleton look with the tattooed guy, RIP) but maybe not the right visual for this song. 11/10 for the package anyway.
