ASFM: Diddyvision - GROUP 2 Viewing parties

I honestly like or live 12-15 songs just in this round (and about 5 in the other round)
 
Really don't know if I'll ever regain my bodily functions after Kazakhstan tbh
 
Also question I’ve seen a few people talk about Muna and say they’re not voting because it’s known, I don’t know her, but interested in thoughts and feelings on this

Just my two cents but they’re a band that’s been discussed multiple times on the forum (to much positivity) and this is arguably their most known song (though I see plenty haven’t heard of them/ it) makes it a bit of an unfair playing field when people are actively trying to find songs 90% of us wouldn’t have heard outside of ASFM.

I don’t think they are Dua Lipa so I’m not sure it’s really that unfair and besides it sounds like the people who know it are marking it down rather than up anyway

This is exactly it @Beverley

The unfair playing field im speaking about is about how fair it would be for me personally, to rate it amongst 38 songs I’ve never heard before.

Anyways it’s moot because like has been said, it’s going to be voted down or not voted at all by some people for this very reason. I feel like if people have submitted a song or act when they’ve been “hits” or have threads on Moopy then they should be prepared for downrating accordingly.

That said I’m glad it’s getting some love from those who don’t know it.
 
Oh yeah I’ve had it before in other ASFMs but I wouldn’t not vote for something I like
 
Also re: threads on Moopy, didn’t that used to be an old ASFM rule back in the day?

I'd say being niche famous is different to just being famous, if that makes sense. I have no idea who she is so I've no qualms about voting for her.
 
Oh of course they’re hardly in the same league of being known like Dua Lipa or even Kiss Kiss Holly (sorry @Soldi :D) I mean I entered The Weather Girls in the Xmas one, but I but only did so because I honestly had no idea people knew them outside of ‘Its Raining Men’ let alone that they had a Christmas bop :disco: but I’d have been fine had people slagged it for being too well known (which judging by the comment it wasn’t) because I loved it.

With Muna I think it’s the fact that from
the comments that a lot of the people who already know it REALLY love it .. add in those just discovering it and loving it and we have maybe a very obvious runaway winner? Boring.

I don’t think that’s the sort of thing I want from an ASFM, so I’ll score it accordingly (it would have been my 20 points in all likelihood). :disco:

Anyway I’ll shut up now. I’ve exhausted my 3.3 post count for the week.

Souk (سوق) basically means market (but could also be used to say you’re going to the grocery store or shopping in general):

- Where are you going Raspberry?
- I’m going to the souk to get me a new butt plug.
