RISE AND SHINE!

hope everybody has some NICE (STAY AT HOME) PLANS TODAY.

I was going to run this AM but it's rained overnight so I'll just have to exercise on the mat again. ugh. and I'm working at 10 but I'm making a nice brunch of salmon avo pancakes to make it more palatable.
 
I’ve offered to go in to work to help out since I was trapped in the house all week due to track and trace.

Wish I hadn’t now :boring:
 
Foggy as hell here this morning.

I ought to go across and have a look at Mr L's mum's old house which is now very nearly finished and we have a tenant moving in soon, so I don't know if I'll get a chance after this weekend.

Still have kind of odd feelings about it.

When I dragged my carcass out of bed an hour ago there was tiny hailstone outside. It gradually turned to snow and is now snowing quite heavily and sticking. I may actually get some wear out of my snow boots this year! I've had them nine years and only worn them twice. The dog is pacing up and down the living room looking out of the window, I know how much he wants to be out there, snow is his favourite weather.

In other news my brother's taken my mum for her jab, hope they can get home safely.

Had to go for my blood tests this morning. They usually all get done at once but because my consultation got cancelled, my pituitary tumour tests and my general health tests went through separate admin streams. Was in for less than 4 minutes. £2.65 return on the bus balanced out by getting an ace M&S salad for my team for a quid instead of the usual £4.

New Sleaford Mods album finally arrives and so does my Verso order.

Innit.
 
Time has lost all meaning since last March. Every month feels so long but also so short and I never know how long ago something was
 
January hasn't felt so long to me. But then I was paid yesterday, so that's probably part of the reason.
 
Still 2 days until I get paid and immediately spunk 40% of it on some shit I don't need :disco:

I just burned my hand while cleaning the hob. It's not the worst but it really gives that splendid edge to my weekend that I really needed.
 
I've found this month a right struggle to give a shit. I spend the working day staring into space, not really achieving anything, to then clock out to...stare into space and not achieve anything.

It's like I've crashed on a loading screen.
 
UPDATE - my relationship with that guy from Manchester that began online last week is still going well. Although he has run away to Weston-super-Mare over the last few days.
 
I'm using Duolingo to refresh my LATIN and I'm not sure why it thinks I need to know phrases about NEW YORK and CALIFORNIA.

Cheddar is lovely. Beautiful walks around there. But Weston is grim.
 
Anyway, he has gone to look after his Mum, after her mental health gave him cause for concern, so he’s got big brownie points from me :emoji_hearts:
