Norway 2021: TIX - Fallen Angel

My Lonely Voice (Kiim) - I quite like this. I wish the way he said ooooo in the chorus was less annoying though. I can imagine it being even more annoying live. The chorus is very rousing. 7/10

Chorus (Royane) - The single cover is ridiculous, and I hope she dresses the same for the performance.
"My mother gave me tough love as a vaccine" :D
The actual song is pretty good but I wouldn't ever really want to listen to it.

Alt det der (Landeveiens Helter) - Sounds like a Mutt Lange song
Very catchy. The one who sings the second verse's voice is annoying though.
They're not actually that old are they, from the single cover they are probably in their 30s?
I actually really like this one.

OMG I hate the chanting background vocals in the chorus (although this seems to be a bit of a Meldo Grand Prix THEME). The chorus also isn't very good.
This is kind of an ok version of a song I'd like but I don't need to listen to it ever again.

My favorite is Landeveiens Helter but none of them are as good as Big Daddy Karsten (RIP), Raylee, or KEiiNO

Raylee's spotify numbers are oddly really shit. On paper it's definitely looking like Keiino vs TIX at this point.
 
To be honest other than Tix and to a lesser extent Keiino they’ve all been a bit rubbish on Spotify so I’m assuming there just isn’t as much of a crossover in Norway as there is in Sweden and we shouldn’t pay much attention to the streaming numbers.

I would imagine Tix and Keiino are more or less getting the kind of streams they would get for their respective new singles anyway.
 
Thinking back to the knock off Melfest heart they have, I recall Raylee’s bubble was a lot more active than any of the others, whilst KEiiNO’s were dreadful but still managed a half decent placing in the streaming charts (nowhere near the numbers Tix has seen however).
 
Although I recall Loreen’s heart refusing her in Andra Chansen and knowing full well what was to come :(
 
After another listen I've decided I love last weekend's auto-qualifier. It'll flop in the final but it's beautifully dated pop.
 


Excuse me, where were these outfits for their stage show? Where was the Norwegian Tourist board advertising? WHERE WAS THE DRAMATIC STAIR BRIDGE?

I REALLY hope they have taken a LONG HARD LOOK at themselves at decide to translate a lot of this imagery into their final performance (LIKE I SAID SEVERAL PAGES BACK!)

Monument is great, but if they do a REDUX of that DARK, SOULESS, BAD HAIR PERFORMANCE again whenever the final is they quite frankly DESERVE to FLOP!
 
Yeah unless Rein brings it (which he PROBABLY will) it’s between Hero/Monument/Feel Again for me.
