Had a great video meeting with our LGBT group at Sky this morning. As it’s LGBT History Month we’ve got lots going and this week, we’re highlighting the devastating impact that HIV and AIDS had on the gay community back in the 1980s through to how far we’ve come today. We’ll be encouraging people to know their status as well as recommending that people watch It’s A Sin, as it gives such a good historical context to the topic.

Plus, I’m going to be making a video about my story of living with HIV for 20 years that’s going to be pushed out to all employees within Sky on multiple platforms on Thursday

Yesterday was Accountants Christmas so they decided to have a treat lunch of tapas because I don't like anything like that and I wasn't going to be there. So in the morning I sent a Whatsapp saying to enjoy it and have fun. This morning one of them Whatsapped back "It was great you missed a treat there Floppet" so I had to reply "and I'm hoping you missed a comma between great and you".

Considering which member of staff it was I'm not convinced that she didn't mean what she wrote originally.
