I feel like I'm more invested in it again this year? But it only brings back the trauma and memories of 48 hours walking the tightrope between excitement and genuine DREAD that whoever you are genuinely rooting for finishes in 5th place. :eyes:

I feel like the new voting structure has made the results much more palatable the last couple of years, though.
 
I can't remember from last year, but watching live is straightforward, right? No trying to create an account in Swedish or something?

Actually if you can't watch live is it easy to catch up on or will I have to make do with Youtube song performances?

Thanks, I think what I struggled with last year if I'm remembering right, was trying to find the show on there if I was late (but wanted to watch from the beginning) or watching on catch up later that evening.

I mean in short I'll just try to watch it live I suppose!

I think it's online for 24 or 48 hours only, at least it used to be like that, so that's probably why. You can use the same link for that.

It's never a disgrace to go to the final through AC. For the biggest names it's a disgrace if they would fail to advance from AC and it's also risky since they they might have haters voting against them in the duels. Also like @Alla pointed out it's nowadays more beneficial for the song to go through AC (AC songs can be played on the radio/Spotify immediately after the semi). There's much less difference between the quality of a DTF, AC and 5th place song than say 10 years ago.

5-7th placed songs rarely become Spotify/Radio hits but AC songs often do. As such it's much less difference between AC and DTF than ending up in 5th. Most artists would be happy if they make AC and Loreen wouldn't have been where she is today without it :disco:

The SFs will only be up for a few days, I believe they take them down Monday night.

Loreen in 2017 was not hated like Carola in 2008. Hagman was just a good looking dude with a guitar while few casuals understood the greatness of Loreens screaming flags. Loreens votes wasn't enough to win any other duel either. Carola on the other hand had TWO-THREE TIMES more votes than the other AC winners. Danny definitely runs the risk of a Carola fiasco in AC!

I've not watched but I've heard nothing but good things about Horizon since.

Anything to report on Danny? Is it actually good or is his placing in the odds purely because he's quite young and has a cock?
