2 Brothers On The Fourth Floor - Dreams (1994, UK number 93)
The Netherlands’ 2 Brothers on the Fourth Floor had CONSIDERABLE more success on the mainland than they did in the UK They never broke through over here, despite evidence of somebody releasing their music.
This is basically every single Eurodance song mashed into one (ESPECIALLY What Is Love?), with a LUDICROUS video to boot. Not a personal super-favourite, but a GREAT FUN bit of tat all the same.
FUN FACT: This was originally going to be Cappella’s THROW EVERYTHING AT THE WALL madness of ‘Tell Me The Way’, but it got SWITCHED to show a bit more variety

And to one of the more familiar selections of the evening, this still sounds SHIT THE BED AMAZING today and was one of the Eurodance songs that truly crossed over in the states too - this went to number 3 in the Billboard charts, and I think was uniquely a hit in the USA before it smashed in the UK.
It’s a total classic of the genre, and still remains one of my personal favourites.
The story of Real McCoy is quite interesting if you have the patience. Multiple line up changes, American label execs BANISHING everything European about them and an album which diluted a lot of their Eurodance sound for a more pop-soul approach - which I’ve always found a BIT ODD as Eurodance was what they were known for.
This is the US version of the video, the original is QUITE TATTY.
