RPDR UK S2 E6 - SNATCH GAME!

I don't know if it would be allowed as they seem to have a very Brexit-y policy on lip sync songs but I need a lip to The Tamperer featuring Maya - Feel It. We will never get it on the US version.

Can't believe we haven't had any Royals yet, as far as I'm aware? The potentials are endless
 
The songs are all British, which is a touch jarring, as if only US Drag Race has a right to use non homegrown songs.

That said there were some BANGERS on Canadian Drag Race.

I can't understand doing fictional characters that are already funny and were designed for that purpose alone. It feels like it goes against what Snatch Game is supposed to be - especially when they don't deliver with a script that's already made for them!

That being said, we have such an amazing canon of bops in the UK. Imagine the finale lip to Summer of Love by Steps or Pray by Tina Cousins. Obviously Kylie is rather orphaned with a UK-only policy.

Actually scratch that. The Show is that girl. The gotta save me now bits give us that desperation a lip sync demands.
 
The best hope for Girls Aloud is one of them being a guest judge (although didn't that already happen?)

Which means get Nadine in so we have a full scale uncut lip sync to the classic, Insayshubal - more exposure than the Tesco Value CD rack EVER gave her!

i think that was the danger with Mel B. Everyone keep saying it was easy... was it? It was always going to come across as an imitation of Bo Selecta or too underplayed. There isn't really a middle ground.

I mean... you could say that the same about every competition, every skill based activity, every thing ever. Drag Race requires skill in so many different areas that it would be amazing if every single person picked was good at every single skill required of them.

It makes me realise just how iconic Mel B is. None of the other Spice Girls could really be Snatched.

I’m surprised that none of them have been ”snatched”. They should all be fairly easy to do considering their cartoonish characters.

I think I could do Melanie C but it would be so nuanced because it’d be channelling that post-Northern Star, pre-Reason Melanie where she was doing the television rounds acting EXTREMELY smug about her genuine solo success, and making no qualms about throwing Geri under the bus :D
