Harry and Meghan "leave" the Royal Family + Interview + book 'Spare'

I have traditionally defended the Royal Family, despite being aware that everything they stood for was against what I believed in. This has really helped to cement my view of them, which has been declining for some time.

At the end of the day, I basically just lived for the drama with them and while that's still there, I need to rationalise and realise that like millions of others, I've been sucked into worshiping an archaic cult, who will do anything to cling to power.

It's like stanning Madonna. Just because she used to give you life in the early 00s doesn't mean she's fit for purpose in this era.

This is what I find most troubling actually. The extent of the brainwashing in the UK if you dare to suggest old GRANNY is anything other than a saint! The audacity of Brits to look down on the Germans or Russians for falling victim to cults of personality in the 30s, when old LIZZIE has been enshrined in the Drag Race Hall of Fame for the best part of a century!

I hope Meghan completes the work that Diana started (and was not allowed (YES YOU HEARD) to finish). I'm here for a rebranding to Elizabeth, the LAST.

I have wonder how they'll respond. A denial statement and soulless documentary in six months just won't cut it.

Everything is pointing to Charles and William being the toxic strands. I anticipate a brief reign for Charles if they want to last beyond 2050.

I’m thinking the response will be little more than a faceless statement from the palace ending with wishing them both well.
 
Nobody is coming out of this smelling of roses, it's such a mess. Of course the royal family are bigoted, racist, misogynistic, bitter, and generally unpleasant. Partly, that's because we let them pretend they still live in 1852, but it is mainly their unwillingness to change.

I can't help but scoff a little at the "they cut us off financially... we couldn't even afford SECURITY!". My heart does bleed.

Scrap the lot of 'em.
 
I KNOW I shouldn’t read it but the DM has a quite frankly ASTONISHING 25 stories on its front page about this currently.
 
The media have gone bonkers reporting it. Oh the irony. The BBC have 7 or 8 stories on the front page. I await with baited breath tomorrow's headlines.
 
What if the queen DIES of a heart attack brought on by the stress of this, closely followed by Prince Philip who is clearly HALF DEAD already. Meghan would (wrongfully) become the most hated woman OF ALL TIME by the UK press.

Anyway, scrap the LOT OF THEM!
 
I would say she will make it to 100 at least. She’s a GAME OLD BIRD.

Harry before any of Charles' siblings. Unless he lost his place in the pecking order when he announced his solo career.

And I don't remember which of Andrew and Edward are older, but Anne comes last because she's a WOMAN.
