Well that’s all fucked. I wonder if they’ll deny it all or try to pin it on one person
 
A lot of similar experiences that Diana reported. Left her feeling isolated and suicidal.

It's so messy. It's laying out everything Diana alluded to with facts and throwing in a ton of racism.

Surely having black members of the family would make them look more inclusive and not outdated. Or maybe I'm missing something. I didn't
really have any opinion on them before, but this makes them seem terrible

The suggestion was that it came from one particular member of the Royal family, who she wouldn't name. She's been complimentary towards Kate and the Queen, so go figure.

Not to defend the royals, but (without having seen this) specifically on the subject of their security being revoked - would that not be because it's funded by the taxpayer? Hence if they choose to leave their public service roles, it kind of IS hard to justify continuing to pay for that...
 
The race stuff is so damning but our fucking delusional white population will claim it's all complete nonsense and brush it under the carpet as they always do. Our country does not accept it has any problem with race at all, because we never officially segregated black people, so we think we are special.
 
What’s this crap about stripping Archie of being a Prince and changing the institution for him? Zara Tindall isn’t a Princess and Princess Margaret’s children weren’t either. I don’t know how it all works but the monarch’s grandchildren are not automatically given those titles.
 
I mean, anyone who has still be stanning the Royal Family in this era is very... gammonish to me.

I hope Diana is stanning fellow messy bottom Meghan from heaven, as she watches alongside her fellow angelic Goggleboxxers Freddie Mercury and Gianni Versace.
 
I don't hold out much hope that any of these revelations will cut through, however. In my family WhatsApp chat yesterday, everyone was very "it's what she wants" when I said Meghan was being excessively bullied by the British press. Someone even wheeled out "she should have just got on with it, like Kate did". Such a very British shutdown: just get on with it.
 
I wish they had stuck the knife into racist old Philip as he lies on his deathbed, thus problematising the inevitable eulogising and hagiography.

Anne did an interview recently to say she chose not to give Zara and Peter titles.

Anyway it’s kind of moot because Archie isn’t the queens grandchild, I thought I had read that it’s only once Charles becomes King that he would be awarded the title!?
 
Obviously the race thing is gross, but so predictable and if it was Phillip, I mean...what's new? Not exactly a juicy revelation unless it was William claiming "only red faced whites over this threshold please". But good they've called it out nonetheless. That feels important.

I find the suicide stuff far more sinister tbh. The whole concept of "no you can't get help, it won't look good for the institution" :zombie: Again, shocking it isn't, but what is this, a CULT?

All this they never mentioned The Queen nonsense. They spoke about the Royal family to which she is the figure head of. They didn’t NEED to mention her by name. Also we are only hearing half a story and we need to wait for a response from the Royal family before we can make a formed decision. They will release a vague statement if that. None of this will ever get cleared up. The fact we still pay for these peoples extravagant lifestyles in 2021 when the country is in such a terrible state is UNBELIEVABLE.
