MORNING ALL. Busy day as I need to PACK MY BAGS and COOK LUNCH. Feels a bit WEIRD to be leaving my parents after 3 months, usually when I visit I can’t wait to leave but I’m feeling surprisingly SAD about going!
 
morning everyone!

excited to decimate my fam in mother's day trivial pursuit this afternoon. otherwise it'll be a quiet one.
 
My Mother's Day card is a minion riding a unicorn.

FaceTime rang about fifteen minutes ago, it was the spawn. I answered it, looking forward to being wished a happy day and she started off the call with "I know it's Mother's Day but me, fiance and bridesmaid think our previous employer might have fucked us over with pension contributions. In September 2018 fiance's gross pay was x-amount, what should the company contribution have been?". Turns out they hadn't factored in the first £6000'ish a year that doesn't count so it's correct. Then she told me that she'd tried on her wedding dress and it still fits (but she can't put any more weight on) and so does bridesmaid's dress She then asked whether Mr F had made me dinner so I told her that I'd made my own dinner because his quote was "you're not my mum!" when I asked why he hadn't got me a card from the dog. So I'm just going to fuck off upstairs now on my own and watch Transformers films.
 
The High Tea was OK, but only had one bottle of cheap Prosecco with it so I let my daughter have that whilst I skipped the tea and had a large glass of red. Shame to see the bottle go to waste.
