Tuesday needs a good cry

MORNING!

I'm actually in quite a good mood today. The sun is shining, I've been working since 6am and so have gotten a lot done, have got the cancer doc for a check up this afternoon which I'm happy about and Miss @Beverley will be pleased to know a copy of his NEW BESTSELLER landed on my doormat this morning which I'm going to tuck into tonight.

All in all, TODAY IS A GOOD DAY.

Now watch some cunt ruin it...

Thanks for buying, Sheeny-fer. If you have basic bitch questions along the way, plz collate them. I'm thinking of doing a monthly or bi-monthly video series called, 'Questions from Karens'. :disco:

About two minutes after I wrote that, I got a computer generated email with client portal log-on details, and I've been "randomly assigned" the following username:

ped0x(+ random list of numbers I won't post here for obvious reasons)

EASE UP! Who thought THAT was a good "randomly assigned" username?

Who YOU calling a KAREN?

We're all over the place.

I'm utterly bored this morning. Waiting on other people.

Underlying condition that wasn't important enough for me shield but is important enough for me to get a vaccine in mid-March.

I’m the opposite. Was sent home last March but no idea when I’m getting mine, still waiting...

It’s only asthma like so I’m not pushing it. Just getting impatient.

@Rachey @octophone @Floppet (I think you may be asthmatic?) are you all getting yours because you are frontline workers or are they starting to vaccinate over 40’s? I haven’t heard anything yet. :(

I'm in the over 50s and they've just started doing the over 50s with underlying conditions here. I got it for the asthma and office lady has a long-term thyroid condition. Like Octy neither of us are still on the shielding list, we both were originally, but we still get the vaccination a bit earlier than the healthy over-50s. As far as I know there's no special treatment for frontline workers in our health district and they have to just wait for their age group.

That's crazy. I was quite literally "get to yr office, cannon fodder" but my first jab is tomorrow...well, unless the vaccine gets banned in the meantime which it had better not.

I have 2 cousins younger than me with asthma who’ve had theirs! Apparently there’s all kinds of algorithms to it now based on postcode and what not.

I suspect that I live in a neighbourhood of pensioners and the average age is about 80 that they’re taking longer to get through the vulnerable than most places but who knows.

apparently if you contact your GP about something none covid related it can trigger a covid response. So I’ve put in a repeat prescription request and blamed early hayfever :eyes:

Ah...I live in a postcode will low life expectancy so they've probably got to the under 50s sooner. :D

The asthma nurse told me that it also depends what inhalers you have as to how far up the queue you get pushed. I only have a preventer (brown) and reliever (blue).

Yeah same @Floppet. I have controlled asthma. But one of my cousins has milder asthma than me! But she does have history of bronchitis, so it might be that.

I’ve been just the once and really liked it !

I follow(ed) the guy behind it on twitter until he stopped tweeting for being a bit too out spoken, deffos taking the team for a work based lunch when it repoens.

Anyway my mood has swung from full on breakdown to rather happy. Fuck knows whats wrong with me. I'm having more mood swings than when I did pills 3 times a week.

I'm a bit over using beta blockers atm. Total instant hit to combat that feeling of dread.

Today has been slow slow slow.

The nice weather is half a help in that I can sit in the conservatory and enjoy looking at it, and a half a pain because it just makes me want to go for a walk.

Bring on the flag parade.
