An update. 
I've just been given access to a fully updated test server running Moopy, and it all seems to be in working order. However, our hosts advise against swapping over on a Friday because if anything goes wrong, then we'd be down over the weekend. So I will do some more testing and we'll do the final swap on Monday, unless we encounter any issues.
As early as I am able to on Monday, I'll close the forum for a bit to do a final sync with the new server, then will swap over to it. It should take about an hour for the new server to be reachable by everyone, though this will vary depending on your internet/dns provider.
THE URL FOR MOOPY MAY CHANGE. Once fully propagated, we will be activating SSL, which is more secure and allows for the app and other boring techy things. Old URLs should automatically redirect, but if not, then try
https://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/
I'll ask someone with Facebook access to post the new link as well when it comes into effect.
Finally, I have installed an old version of the media embed tool we used to use that works on our current server settings as a stopgap measure (I should have thought of this much sooner). This means YouTube, Spotify etc. embeds should work a bit better over the weekend.
