funky and Jark's playlists of moody shit

Hayling is an absolute beast of a track. I find it quite joyous though? :D

much of the rest I do not know and i'm very excited to give this is a go tomorrow.

and if anyone has the trip-hop bug after Mezzanine, I started putting this together today

a nice mix of harder beats and jazzier/more soulful sounds

Of course I know nearly everything in yours Jark as Trip Hop is my BABY but that looks glorious and I might put in during my housecleaning tomorrow :disco:

further recommendations MORE THAN WELCOME, funks

There's a ton of deep cut trip-hop in my playlist @Jark, lot of style crossover with yours. It is, after all, mostly DEEP MOODY SHIT

Beth Orton looks like a very cheeky lady. She is doing her best ":sneaky:"

Great song. Love it

Single is gorgeous. Recommend me an Everything But The Girl album someone PLEASE

start with Walking Wounded. A great mix of dark pop sounds. Follow up Temperamental is a mix of deep house and deep moody shit. All the albums before then are more acoustic pop and jazz pop. They completely changed their sound after the success of the Missing remix.

Just realised this is a 2 hour 40 minute playlist. Maybe I'll just comment on selected highlights :D

you don’t have to go in on one sitting :D

also it’s great background music when you’re relaxing.

I started this last night, but only the first 10 or so. That Beth Orton track is particularly great. I love everything I know from Everything But the Girl (the hit singles), but I need to give Walking Wounded a listen. There is just too much music out there, and not enough time

I don't mean this as negative at all, but I think I'm going to put this on when I'm doing my next big clean of my apartment

maybe we need an EBTG playlist... or I could do a COUNTDOWN :o

Well I would LOVE that. Most of what I know by them (looking at my library) seem to be Todd Terry remixes
