So far work have gifted me with an E-Card signed by 4 people and a meeting that someone who's called in sick couldn't go to.

But in better news I have a half day and am off to a PUB :o
 
I'm at a bloods appointment in town. People are feral. People everywhere! Queuing for McDonald's, barber shops... I'm yet to check out Primark.
 
Things don’t really open up here properly for another fortnight, and I think at that point I will probably give it another fortnight before I venture out properly when things are a bit less MANIC.

Oh absolutely, I'm not braving it for a few weeks and at that point I may just hold off until my first vaccination, assuming I get my all-important blue envelope in the near future.

Where are they at with the covid vaccine here COB? Have they moved on to over 40’s ? ( I know you are FAR from that age but unfortunately I am now nearing the arse end of it) I still haven’t heard a THING.
 
I don’t get people heading out at MIDNIGHT for a drink and I bloody love booze!
 
We can see the queue from Primark from my work, I was telling a colleague how ridiculous it was people rushing straight in and queuing to buy.

She replied 'yeah I know, I mean I'm waiting till tonight at least before I go'

A friend messaged me earlier to ask if I wanted to accompany him on a shopping trip. Had to find a diplomatic way to say "FUCK THAT."
 
Bunch of killjoys. I'm going to the pub tomorrow and I might dip into a few shops after office viewings tomorrow afternoon too. I've missed shops.
 
I mean fuck Primark but thats a universal policy.
 
Oh, I'm down for BEVS and FOOD and all that, I just don't want to be anywhere near the ARNDALE.
 
Today really feels like the start of a NEW CHAPTER for me for many reasons. Rejoined the gym, shops/ pubs have opened, course info arrived... Although I have no job, I'm going to have time to complete the tasks at hand. The next five months are going to be WELL EARNED.
 
I’ve had a nasty two day hangover so today has felt like a hundred years of hell. Getting my haircut after work though so hopefully that might make me feel less like a GROTTY MONSTER.
