Thursday opens up

Why isn't it the weekend yet?

Also I am getting very irritated at the ever-present stress in my life of solicitors disappearing off the edge of the earth. I've done everything I need to do to buy this house, could I please have my official acceptance rather than leaving me completely in the dark worrying the sellers will pull out please?
 
Its sunny so I left my coat at home which means I’ll be walking home in the pissing fucking rain

Well I thought the hayfever might be over for now... NO woken up early by a streaming left nostril. FUCKSAKE
 
I've dipped below [REDACTED]stone for the first time in, I have no idea. Beginning to see some difference visually now. Pleasing!

Ring them. If the solicitor isn't there ring again an hour later and keep doing it if you can, the receptionist'll soon get fed up. I advised the spawn to do the same when she was having trouble with her house-buying last year and it would appear that whoever shouted loudest got seen to first.

I just spoke to mine there, and insisted that they phone the sellers solicitors rather than email them. She thinks it's a workload thing rather than them wanting to pull out but I still have the fear.
 
I decided to eat an EXTRA STRONG locket that I had scurrying around in my handbag before so decided to go in and wait for my vaccination. BAD IDEA WITH A MASK ON. My eyes were literally burning and I looked like I was sobbing. The lovely nurse asked if I was scared as I had been crying. :DAF:
 
I then got questioned as to why I was eating a locket, and if I had a sore throat, as I would need to go and get a test. No, I just like lockets/soothers/tunes and any other form of sore throat lozenges for a quick SUGAR HIT.
 
I had a brief history lesson from my mum yesterday about the UK royal family / parliament etc.

Now I feel I need to learn more. I have no real idea who Oliver Cromwell is. It any of the previous Kings and Queens.

Can you get a "UK history for dummies" book?

The whole house buying process is just so ridiculous.
