speaking of mountain towns, my friend (read boy from Grindr I've never actually met in person but have been exchanged postcards and novels with) has offered me a room in his house in Chamonix.

which sounds like the best offer ever should I find a local international school.

There isnt one really, theres a few small alternatives, including a cute montessori one in a beautiful chalet at the bottom of the gran montet, but other than that its francais or le highway

Spent the afternoon at mum's as it's her birthday today. One of her prezzies was flowers (a red rose and four carnations) from dad's wreath last year that I'd dried then tied them with ribbon and found a perfect handmade box with brass inlay and red velvet interior to put them in. She loved it and then admitted that she'd been wanting to ask me about the flowers for the last six months but thought I'd forgotten and didn't want to make me feel bad. I'd also bought a birthday cake for her because it's not fair to buy your own cake. So had my sister in law, spawn and mum's next door neighbour so I've come home with three quarters of a birthday cake.

Oh fucking tons of teaching opportunities in Switzerland, my mate worked at the most expensive one of the bunch, he said the kids of russian millionaires are something else!

Just snapped up a load of tickets to dates for Nigel Farage’s US tour. Just hope I don’t find out I can’t make it as I’d hate for him to be talking to an empty stadium
