I'm reclaiming it for the straights and the non-E********n gays by using it as the woman catching a ball emoji.

It's my first day in the office since October today, I've not gone in since the second wave of the scamdemic. I hadn't done the nose sounding test or whatever it is before until last night. I feel violated!

I just took the train for the first time in over a year this morning! (Hashtag big brave boy). Got to the platform and no mask :manson: Had to run back to the car and just made the train but my plan to board the train all cool calm and collected was a a failure :(
 
Spent the last hour trying to get through to my GP for a 2 minute conversation about a letter.

Anyway, in a strange headspace this morning. A network of international schools I registered for last month have been in touch this morning with two somewhat perfect sounding roles in Lisbon and Alicante (Primary English and Primary Drama), but I've had a conversation with the head at the school I'm in right now. I didn't meet the criteria for the permanent jobs going up as I've only been doing special ed for a short while, but she's been very complimentary and has said she'd like to get me something for next year regardless.

This is the first time EVER I've felt more positive about staying in Belfast than going somewhere bright and beautiful and it feels odd. I fear I'm starting to settle.

Also morning Moopy. Happy Eurovision semi-final etc etc.

I WISH! My sister and mother made other plans (going to Baltimore for the day, since my sister is moving there in August) and I can't possibly explain to them that I am ditching them to go to a bar alone. I'll have to cruise gay diplomats another time :(
 
I am sat listening to a conference on cannabis, while writing about psychedelic-assisted therapy, and less than 5 meters to my right 4 guys are praying to Mecca. What a fucking wonderful world I am I privileged to exist in.
 
There’s a big old thunderstorm now, scary. Especially on the 13th floor. Feels like the building is going through a car wash
 
I look like I have been through a bloody car wash. Wind and rain GALORE.
 
I’d just been thinking how my windows were quite grubby, but it’s very difficult to clean them. The last few days it’s been like a power washer

3500 in the audience, must test negative for covid before entry. It’s a trial like we did with that club in Liverpool.
