So today I'm hoping Kylie reaches the 1m mark so that he can go into this soft play session, last time ai measured him he was about 98cm. But then in a couple of weeks I'm hoping he's less than 1m so I can get him into Peppa Pig world without paying.

Which way will it go? :o

do they measure him by line of sight, or with a thing that goes on his head?

if it’s the first one, then give him an up-do today and shave it off in a few weeks!

It's one of them line of sight things, and then there's the shoes issue, will they measure with shoes on or off? :o

Good idea on the hair styling though!
 
Moopy can I still get my covid vacc if I have a cold?

I've gone 12 months without catching one, I spend 7 days on the mainland and I come back sick :(

But now I'm at the nasty cough stage and I'm terrified I'll walk into the vacc centre, cough, and be screamed at!

Call them and ask them, I reckon they'll ask you to maybe wait for a few days, take a test just to be sure, and come back when the cold is better. Getting vaccinated for something when you're unwell (even if it's just a cold) is generally not ideal.

Damn it. I was meant to be booked for next week but they've brought it forward.
 
I think as long as you've not had a fever you're ok. Although if you have any of those lateral flow tests at home it would be worth doing before you go.
 
No fever, just typical cold symptoms. I'm hoping I feel a bit better Thursday for the vacc.

It's come at the worst time as we open the shop Friday as well.
 
I'm actually not :o The past couple of days I've found myself feeling weirdly free in a way I haven't since all the Eurovision stuff started (ie when the first national finals started). We'll see how long THAT lasts though :eyes:

I have a couple of potential crowd pleasers I’ve been sitting on for months but I’m kind of bored of them now and instead want to send something Indie will give 2 points and the rest will hate.

This morning there was a large bird sat on my back fence. It was bigger than a parakeet and smaller than a parrot, dusky pink coloured with yellow and brown on its head and the most gorgeous deep but bright blue wingtips so I tried to get a photo of it, assuming it was an escaped pet, but couldn't. I then googled to find out what type of bird it was and it was a Jay, a wild bird! I've never seen one before, in the wild or otherwise.

I'm home from being in a wall of corn.

I would rate Cornwall as 6/10. It's windy and rains, but there are some nice cliffs and beaches. I've also been to Wetherspoons more times in the last 5 days than in the last 5 years.
 
A Welsh man once invaded a date I had at Wetherspoons and told us he didn't mind gays but that in his day we'd be beaten to a pulp. And that my date didn't seem gay but that I did.

It was our last date. :(

Whosevdecision was it to have the date at Wetherspoons? Surely that is a dealbreaker.

I was making out with a man on the street and a homeless man came up to us and I was nervous but then he said “I don’t want to ever see either of you with a girl” and walked away

The other guy's! It was just the end of the date before he got the train to be fair.

It went from him bringing me a gift of a cool writing book to him clenching his fists in Wetherspoon's and saying he wanted to headbutt welsh guy (as if).

Then I flew to Cambodia the next day and he ended it by text two weeks later in the middle of my trip. 😀
