How do you sign off your work emails?

Our credit controller often goes for 'Regards.' and the full stop seems quite aggressive to me, but then she has been known to use 'OK?' on its own preceding it.

I admit to sometimes using the dreaded 'Hope you are well' before launching into my request for something - I even mean it on occasion.

Several years ago when I had to do a bit of credit control I had a complaint against me for being too agressive by slamming phone down.

I never really saw hope you are well until the last year where it seems to be in most emails. I’ve even found myself doing it :/

I mean, who doesn't love the classic ones like "I hope this e-mail finds you well..." or "AS PER MY LAST E-MAIL".

to be fair, if someone emailed you out the blue just say “oh hi, are you well?” you’d immediately just think “does this twat think I’m not busy or something” and it would be the first thing to get ignored or deleted

I’ve become very good at just ignoring anyone who messages me in Teams leading with “Hi. how are you? Can I ask you a question?”

Depends on who it is of course, but if it’s no-one I have any responsibility to communicate with, they can generally fuck off.
