Morning fools

8am on a Saturday and no daily thread?

I suppose that is reasonable but I’ve already finished work soooo

Morning moopy.

Today is Mandys first day off in 16 days and she wants to sleep and do nothing. I want to go out and do stuff. So now I have to persuade her that going out is fun.

I wonder what story the papers will be running about @Tisch and @Iguana today?

Morning Moopy. Up early cos I'm getting my hair cut in a salon for the first time since before Christmas. I hope they have the shears well oiled :D

To try and curb my phone habit, I’ve set a limit of 40 minutes between FB, Instagram and Tiktok. It was sort of scary how much do a go-to it was when I was just thinking what to do next (or avoiding it)

Good morning! I've had my first proper lie in for a while, but will soon get up as we still have flat tidying/sorting stuff to do. Then possibly a spot of charity shopping :disco:

Got really stoned last night and decided to throw our festival again so now I have to plan a festival today 🙃

Hi Moopy,

I have bought a mountain bike. Because I live in the mountains. And I didn't have a bike the past 2 years. Keep me in your prayers so I don't crash at the first corner.

Young moopy gays - is the short short popular for Summer '21, or have I just been very fortunate in my wanderings this afternoon?

I think almost all men look better in shorter shorts than longer, especially if it’s below the knee

Yes! It didn't affect us in our NICE LEAFY SUBURB at all, but speaking to my parents this morning (hate to admit this but... zone 6...) They said they had really bad torrential rain last night just for a few moments. The actual tornado seems to have been weirdly constrained to the Barking area. Can only assume God fancied another mini Noah's Ark redo.

I've got a replacement car, it's a silver VW Polo. Couldn't resist telling Mr F that I'm glad it's a silver Polo and not uncooked Polo. I made him come with me to collect it (for moral support) and nearly gave him whiplash every time I braked because the brake pedal doesn't go to the floor like Lickle Red's does so whenever I started braking as I usually would to slow down approaching the lights I was doing emergency stops. It's as basic as can be, there are no bells and whistles but it's a really comfy ride. Popped to Tesco on the way back and it took five minutes to work out how to open the boot. I apologised to Lickle Red for my infidelity as I walked past him on the drive.
