What songs do you listen to when your heart is broken to pieces?

I just listened to this an hour ago (after being inspired by the other songs in this thread :D) but the version from The Dance

I like the way that it moves from this wistful, plaintive kind of vibe to just SEETHING with righteous anger. A cathartic experience. I'm glad she got to HAUNT Lindsey with it for decades.

I can’t remember where but there was some interview where she talked about singing it on stage with him and staring at him the whole time

You were so beautiful before today
And then I heard what you had to say
Man, that was ugly

This thread has made me want to go put on the Alison Moyet and Fleetwood Mac greatest hits 😍

Have a double whammy

Under these fingertips
A strange body rolls and dips
I close my eyes
And you're here again
Later as day descends
I'll shout from my window
To anyone listening
'I'm losing'

DEVASTATING

One of my favourite sad songs, even if it’s not a heartbreak song in the classical sense:

God I love This House

That was a late discovery, only a few years ago. Amazing song

I remember it (and the parent album) being released and thinking nothing of it at the time. I think it was probably a decade or so before I appreciated it.

'This House ' and 'It Won't Be Long' from the same album are both astonishingly good.
