Their music industry is massive, of course it is. Everything there is massive, with so many people, isn't their movie industry the first in the world? That has nothing to do with it. It doesn't mean I don't like India, it doesn't mean I can't enjoy an Indian song (there was one in a ASFM and I gave it points), I just find it extremely difficult to do a research from 0 for such a country, it doesn't matter how big their industry is, it isn't big here and I have no references, for god's sake. I understand how some people wanted to live this as a challenge and would be happy with India or Aruba, but that wasn't my approach to this, and I got frustrated. And I don't know why anyone care anyway, we have to make a circus of everything here. :argh:

Btw I love ButterTart even when I wanted to kill him for about 10 seconds.

On the other hand, it's finding that one song which is the bugger. It's almost a poisoned chalice getting a massive music industry because where the fuck do you even start?
 
I did slip Elio - Charger onto the work playlist and I’m slowly trying to sneak more ASFM entries on every week, culminating in my final week when Fangoria is being THRUST UPON IT.

And here was me panicking during A Song For SuomiFrid thinking I HAD to send Ya Tantsevala in case someone else discovered it for Worldvision, and Ukraine wasn’t even selected!

No I've just found over the years a lot of random deep house / ambient house vibey stuff from the continent, and whenever I investigate further a rather disproportionate amount do seem to be from LT.
 
Africa's music game is strong. I hoped there'd be a few more countries making an appearance but 5 out of 40 odd entries isn't half bad.
