While similar in appearance, the garden fork is shorter and stockier than the pitchfork, with three or four thicker tines intended for turning or loosening the soil of gardens.
 
Hoping that watching Family Guy on Disney+ everyday for the past couple of months has paid off and all been leading up to this moment....

Yes, they were much more successful in the US, largely because they were often pre-installed in cars, much as radios and then cassette players were in the UK.
