We have a small wildfire today in a slope on top of a village nearby, I suppose there's no road so they're trying to put it off with airplanes and helicopters taking sea water from here and dropping it on the flames, but they have to get in a really low altitude for that. Makes me feel like an idiot for complaining that my job puts me under pressure.

Today is dragging like nothing. At least the office chatterbox has bogged off home. Starting to get tinnitus in my right ear :gross:
 
I've been stupidly productive, this not drinking lark works, shame I fucking love drinking.
 
The good: Now having a PINT

The bad: Racist Dave is in. Buddy of my dad's. One of those guys who is actually normally very pleasant - long as you're white. And he keeps getting bolder about going off on rants about some encounter with some non-white person, referring to them with the n-word etc.
Being rather a quiet, shy and softly spoken person, shamefully I tend to just keep my mouth shut, but it got to the point last week where I grumbled a "what century are we in again? For fuck's sake!" out loud (not that he cared. His wife and daughter tell him off all the time, he pulls the "I'm the older generation I can't help it" card)
 
One of our gruffer eastend locals is desperate to prove he’s not homophobic by CONTINUOUSLY wanting to chat about BEING GAY.

He asked me when I knew I was gay, and I said I probably first realised I was attracted to boys at 12, to which he replied ‘DON’T WE ALL THAT AGE?’ :D?!!
 
In other pub news we barred this obnoxious rich prick who all the staff hated and he’s now SUEING US for DEFAMATION!
