Oh SURPRISE SURPRISE I just got a text saying the above but with THURSDAY replaced with "your [useless washing machine] collection" :argh:

Appliances Direct can CUNT OFF

Anyway, GOOD DAY TO YOU ALL

My gym is shut for maintenance or something so I’ve resorted to doing abs workouts at home and now my stomach hurts :(

Obviously I AM finding other means to wash my expensive, glamorous couture but I have been doing the RUN OUT OF PANTS? NIP DOWN TO M&S TO BUY MORE routine so I'm all knickered up :disco:

It's times like this that the loss of BHS would be most keenly felt, for me :(

What does that even mean, the collection has failed :D did they die en route, burning up on re-entry to the A52? Presumably nobody is at fault, just a thing that happened (or didn't) :eyes:

I'm getting quite CROSS just thinking about it!

angry willy wonka GIF

Yesterday Mr Ag opened the front door to the LANDLADY who spotted the CAT.

She is reporting it to the letting agent. FFS.

Not that I think we're gonna be chucked out, but I somewhat suspect it's gonna COST US MORE.

Well imagine the mood HERE and QUITE!

If it was the two vile youths who delivered it in the first place, I'm hoping DIED EN ROUTE is the reason

We had vague notice, of a gardener coming and that she'd be involved. Sadly I was out and Mr Ag didn't think to lock the cat in another room as he was expecting a plumber.

I mean we're not about to lose the house, it's just frustrating.

To boot we're not allowed to put anything up on the walls. No pictures, calenders, bunting, lights, mirrors... eurgh!

Oh NO. Perhaps when the time comes to move again, you could do a dirty protest on the walls :disco:

In the meantime, do what I do with fairy lights and DRAPE 'EM

Mr Ag wasn't quick enough "we've had him 5 years". He's such a sweet natured cat, but we can't prove that.

In future house inspections we'll just hide any evidence of him. She can fuck off.

I don’t get why some landlords are so uptight about pets. Like FAIR ENOUGH if you’ve got a pet elephant but what’s a little cat going to do?
The elephant notion came to mind at this end as well

OMG ASTRAL TWINS

I'm adapting in various ways. We're getting loads of lovely new (second hand) furniture to adorn the place. And yes I've already drapped fairy lights over anything we can.

My mate suggested perspex frames and velcro.

I think NO MIRRORS is a bit extreme

WHAT A SICK AND WICKED WOMAN
It's just no nails. There's a pre existing nail above the enclosed fire place in the front room, for which we're gonna find a kitschy old nan mirror.

I will adapt. I'm good at this.

Our tenant has a cat. I know other landlords who don't accept them though. I think we were advised to put some clause in the contract that the tenant will pay for any cat related damage. But I can't remember if we actually did or not.

There was no no pets rule in the advert and I just said we had no pets, during the horrific vetting process. I mean we're in, we've fronted 11 grand including deposit, so whatever.

I (well my roommate) pay "Pet rent" each month, which I think is kind of stupid, but covers any damage. Maybe they'd accept something like that

Lovely. We had a couple of '60s mirrors from Mr L's mother's house, which we gave to a friend who is very into her mid century modern.

NAR: I've just spotted the biggest spot I've had for YEARS on my knee. How do you get a spot on your knee, and how can it have got so big considering I'm certain it wasn't there when I had a bath last night?

I'm much too old for acne

Are you sure you've not been BITTEN?

It looks too much like a good old teenage zit.

Perhaps it's an infected hair follicle. I've just never had one there. PASS THE SAVLON!

Try BULL DOG

Always worked for me and now I have the clearest skin :disco: (bar the shaving cuts)
