I'm finally done, I think this must be the first ASFM where I've really liked/loved my entire list of point scorers. The variety has been a real treat - Africa especially brought the goods.

I dread to think what people are splashing out their traveller's cheques on though. I mean if you're giving high points to something in traveller's cheques then surely that song would be in your main list to start with. Although there are many tactics here - you could leave your favourite off the main points and slap them a ton in bonus points instead. But then the person won't know until after the event and that feels a bit redundant.
 
I'm also voting strictly on favourite songs rather than any supposed difficulty. I mean if you picked hard and got South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands and were forced to enter an Albatross mating call as your entry then that's your lookout. Luckily many of what I assume were HARD countries actually served us well

Apart from the fact I didn't send my entry at 3am, hours after the deadline for once, this seems like a terrifyingly long list for something that shuts in less than 24 hours :o

I won't lie, I've been panicking ever so slightly about turning these around in less than 24 hours, especially with a ten hour work day thrown in. Up until yesterday, only a quarter of the contestants had voted :o

SO I have marked all the songs and am currently on my 2nd listen of all songs. I will then listen to the recap and whittle down before 5pm. Whoever said I don’t take this shit seriously can kindly TAKE IT FUCKING BACK. :oi:

I’m so proud of you. Everyone else is just awful for saying you don’t take it seriously.
 
Voted 6 hours early. I would like to be taken off the delinquent wish ASAP
 
When shall we start SPECULATING about who sent what? :disco: It's harder this time I think, with people being constrained to a country.
