Haven’t started or looked at one of these in a while.

My trip to Montreal was cut short when I just realized that I booked my flight back at 6 am today and not 6 pm (an error I’ve done before because I’m a dummy).

So now I can’t sleep cause I have to leave to the airport soon and I’m gonna be a zombie tomorrow 🧟‍♂️
 
My brother did that once so we spent 12 hours in Stansted drinking and shoplifting
 
I did it before and missed the flight cause time is so hard for me. At least this time I noticed.
 
I once got bus times mixed up between the time the bus left and the time the bus arrived at the airport. A leisurely coffee suddenly became a Tom and Jerry esque run around town.

Speaking of Tom and Jerry I was up at 4.30 chasing a mouse in the fucking bedroom (unsuccessfully). Absolutely fuming this morning.

It’s alright, it’s the worst time to be because it’s so hot and humid. But yes it’s a lot closer to a European experience than Toronto. Also the rents are ridiculously cheap.

I have only been to Québec, because FRANCE. But I would love to go back and visit some other parts of Canada.

I hope it does not have a partner cause they reproduce really fast. My mom had two in a cellar she keeps wine barrels and stuff and could not get them out cause they are very good at hiding and before you know it they've made a family!

They grab them from the garden, and really god knows how many are out there. There are two types, the bigger brown field mouse and the smaller grey house mouse. They don't care which ones they nab, but the numbers have definitely got bigger over the years.

I really should put collars with bells on them, but I hate the idea of not putting them on properly and them getting stuck somewhere.

I have just caught the cat suspiciously sniffing around another room upstairs, couldn't see anything myself so I'll give him some time and hope he was onto something. 🤞
 
Aye, happy birthday @Ag.

I have another day out of the office and I'm meeting a dear friend for lunch, the first time I have done anything of the sort since Jan 2020. Oddly nervous.

Omg I’m just on the train back to my hotel after a very gay day in Chiba and Tokyo, with my sort of ex who is still hot.

but we didn’t do anything, apparently he’s reluctantly dating a girl now :eyes:

last night I was drunk on alcohol, but right now I’m drunk on DISCO :disco: TAKE ME! TAKE ME HOME!!
 
And randomly some little Japanese kid, probably 8 years old, just had a case of the OMG A WHITE PERSON. But he waved at me when he got off <3

I feel like this trip, though ill-advised is sort of recharging whatever gland is in charge of making me feel like Japan is the right place for me.
