I saw someone post something along the lines it will only be unverified accounts that can't post explicit content.
 
Also I’ve never paid for it, there’s plenty of free porn out there that DOES THE JOB fine.

Doesn’t seem to be the case from their statement:

Effective 1 October, 2021, OnlyFans will prohibit the posting of any content containing sexually-explicit conduct. In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the platform, and to continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines. Creators will continue to be allowed to post content containing nudity as long as it is consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy. These changes are to comply with the requests of our banking partners and payout providers. We will be sharing more details in the coming days, and we will actively support and guide our creators through this change in content guidelines.

Yeah but the only way I see it is that it’s OnlyFans who is going to lose here. Who else will use it???
 
This is being driven by the payment processors, similar to what happened to PornHub.

Who knew the likes of MasterCard and Visa et al. were so puritanical considering they made huge sums from these services?

Fuck OnlyFans for taking the easy wayout and doing over the sex workers that effectively made their site the success it was.

Good luck trying to turn a profit charging people for cooking tips and yoga vids or whatever they expect people to pay for now. :eyes:

I heard when they say “sexually explicit conduct”, they’re banning sex acts but not nudes. Either way it’s really shitty of them to do this and doubt they’ll survive this cull.
 
A lot of the "porn" on there is slightly low-rent formerly famous people showing off "artistic nudes" anyway (former reality show contestants etc.). You have to go to other sites for penetration.

Hope so! So many 'stars' have started using it almost like Twitter/Patreon - to give their fans 'access' to them posing in a mirror or whatever. I want the platform to FLOP and FLOP HARD!

I'm sure I've seen hardcore onlyfans videos on xhamster and the like. Or is there another similar service, which will presumably soon go the same way?

This will either "happen" and everybody will just carry on using the site as normal, or another platform will pop up and all the content creators will just move there instead :D

My point being there's NO POINT subscribing to a service to see a black and white pic of Marvin from ANTM's arse when there's much better stuff out there for free. :D And if I'm missing some artsy point, I don't really care. 💅

I know there's also more hardcore stuff on there, but it seems like it's been taken over a more recently by people who post teaser shots then charge extra for a bit of cock.

I don't even go on it! :D I just get curious when I hear "SO AND SO's got an onlyfans" but research on other forums tells me it's generally a big let down and just a money making attempt.
