I guess Britbox is better than nothing :manson:
Cult favourite drama Footballers’ Wives is headed to BritBox later this month, the streaming service has announced.

It spawned a spin-off show, Footballers’ Wives: Extra Time on ITV2, which will also be added to BritBox along with the original series from Thursday 26th August 2021.


Anyone up for a rewatch darlings? :disco:

It's up :disco: I'll no doubt watch it all by this time next week but if memory serves me right — S3-S5 is hot garbage?
 
I have Britbox so I might indulge in this

Just finishing my 28484884th rewatch of The Inbetweeners first though (:eyes:)
 
I know The Inbetweeners has a lot of detractors, but I still very much enjoy it when I stumble across it on E4+1, usually around midnight.

I think BASTARD Jason is my favourite although it's an absolute hoot that we're suppose to believe he's a professional athlete yet is (relatively for a football player) so out of shape :D
 
I’ve managed the first six episodes so far

Obviously the highlight is Tanya and Jeanette PLOTTING TO KILL Frank :disco: Not to mention Jason inevitably getting Kyle’s mum UP THE DUFF in the next episode judging by the outro :D
 
I recently discovered Zoe Lucker was only in her late 20s while she was in this. I thought she was like 10 years older. Anyways I should really start rewatching this trash.
 
I guess that’s better for a GIF though

I always imagine her GAZING WIDE-EYED point blank in someone’s face :D with her pupils wobbling around
 
The best Tanya moment ever is the bit with the condom. You’ll know when you see it, I won’t spoil it. :D

I’ve just finished series two

at Jason DEAD and them quitely bumping Chardonnay off too :D:(
 
In hindsight, the first season was quite dark compared to the second which is not as good as I remembered. Not long until AMBER comes in and saves the show :disco:
 
I like how Ian and Donna just disappeared without a TRACE :D

They couldn’t even be arsed to KILL THEM OFF!

I just watched the scene where they re-united and the kids starting clapping and cheering :D It's like their storyline existed in an entirely different show at that point.
 
Also Conrad rejecting Neil after he gave him a blowie hits a BIT TOO CLOSE TO HOME

I have now finished all five series! :D:disco::basil: at how DRAMATIC the last episode is!

I see there’s also two series of EXTRA TIME which I‘m now going to delve into.
 
I had no idea Extra Time existed but must know everything there is about Tanya’s half sister ANIKA BEEVOR. What’s the premise?!?
