BIG REVEAL FRIDAY

What about Halloween?

Are you allowed to do your own recipes, or do you have to follow Roly's recipes?
Well we can't really decide if people would buy fudge for Halloween. You don't by Halloween presents for people.

We can switch our flavours. We're going doing chocolate orange which is for Halloween. And maybe toffee apple.

Yes, I was thinking toffee apple. I know people don't buy Halloween gifts, but just thought it might tempt people in if you had a seasonal flavour, for themselves.

It's like a crumbly, soft, sweet but of goodness. It's actually really hard to explain. We get a lot of Americans in asking what it's like so it's easier just to give them some to try.
What Americans don’t know what fudge is? I didn’t even know it was a European thing until now

Yes, I'd say Roly's was like a cross between 'ordinary' fudge and tablet.

Yes, good description.

We had someone come in the other day, read the "it's crumbly" sign, came in, said she didn't like crumbly fudge, took some samples, said she only liked soft fudge and walked out.

Another customer saw it all and said "why the fuck did she come in just to eat your fudge she knows she won't like".

Well I've just had this conversation with Mandy. We have no issue with it but we're not sure if we can ship stuff like that abroad, how much it will cost, customs etc . Its something we would need to look into.
Send me his address x

That’s quite a harrowing combination but also weirdly accurate.
The way i imagine fudge to be as of today, i think it would be a good match. Feta works well with honey, as yoghurt does and yoghurt also works well with caramel. Feta is much saltier but then salted caramel is also a nice taste. 🤯
I would definitely try it.
