The Cotswolds are incredibly pretty, but I'm not so sure how much there will be to do with children. There will be some attractions you could research though, I'm sure. Plus you have Cheltenham no so far away if you want a beautiful town.
I'm not counting on the weather being great so I'm even thinking a cottage somewhere and then just venturing out for fresh air here and there. Don't really need too many attractions!

Kent? I don't really know how far children can travel. They're lovely but a little bit far out when travelling with the kids!

I used to go from Surrey to the Isle of Wight on holiday as a child. From about 3 years old. Was that bad patenting?About the same as Herbie really

Fair enough. I'm not judging, I just genuinely was curious because I thought kids liked car journeys. Was just trying to offer advice on nice places to visitAll children are different! Mine just won't sleep for long in a car so shorter journeys are better right now!

I was on Question Time last night!
Did anyone watch it? The person asking about electric car infrastructure and talking about juice anxiety was talking about ME phoning him up in the middle of the night and asking if I could charge my car at his house![]()
I don't watch it any more because it makes me too angry but CONGRATS!I was on Question Time last night!

They will LOVE the Island. Loads for little ones to do and nice beaches. Before you book anywhere let me know and I can recommend nice and not so nice areas to stay.I actually am going to bring them IoW next year hopefully. @lolly said he'd babysit
@Star back to this break, what about looking at staying in a cottage on a farm? My friend just took her two young ones somewhere with pigs and goats on the farm. They loved spending time watching the animals so much that they barely needed to go anywhere.
Get yourselves a hot tub as well. Then you can relax when the kids go to bed.Oh that's a good idea!
