Foolishly went to a BAD PARTY last night at a tailor’s house is ISLINGTON (:zombie:) after working 14 hours and now feel rotten and have work in 30 minutes.
 
I'm still in bed, but today will feature some sort of Christmas shopping and possibly looking for a new suit as we have a wedding to attend between Christmas and New Year :o I also have my booster appointment later in the afternoon. Quite a lot to fit in by my standards!
 
I finally went out today. Think I might be on the upswing health wise.

Went to a shiny new Lidl and shamefully bought a Daily Mail to get a £10 off voucher and then rinsed it for baked goods and Xmas treats.

After missing 10 days of life, I'm happy to start indulging in Xmas treats NOW!
 
We used that Lidl voucher yesterday. Think ours came from the Metro.
 
Not only did I sleep over at my coworkers house, I now am here in the morning with her 3 year old triplets
 
I've just been getting my monitor, keyboard and other office stuff ready for tomorrow morning and discovered that I never took the Christmas card box back upstairs last year. Proving that I haven't actually hoovered the dining room properly/fully in 2021.

Old me would have been mortified by that fact but I actually don't care at all, it's quite liberating. Mr F also told me off earlier after I made a particularly harsh comment about something on the telly because I'm supposed to be the nice one in our marriage, we can't both be the horrible one! :D

Ah I went lidl today and saw loads of people with those vouchers. I wondered where they were from as I was buying bits for the food bank
 
On the food bank front, what does 'tinned meat/fish' mean? And packet soup Vs tinned, is there much difference?
 
I think perhaps you're worrying a little too much!
 
And re soup, I always IMAGINE that tinned may be healthier than packet, considering packet soup is essentially grit and dust, but that may be bollocks.
 
I got a few Christmas hampers from one of the local food banks here last year for clients. They were bloody amazing - only a few basic items but loads of nicer 'luxury' items that I guess people otherwise wouldn't buy. And then age appropriate gifts for children as well, and £100 Aldi vouchers. I really felt like Father Christmas giving them out, as much as obviously they weren't 'from' me.
 
With tins, I’ve heard to make sure they can be opened without a can opener, since not all the recipients will have one
 
Went on a 20k ride earlier on my own to the pub and it was fucking brilliant.
 
In a post apocalyptic survival scenario tinned fish five you your best bang for buck in terms of survival. Relatively light, nutrient dense and full of energy. Sardines will save your life.

I'm always amazed by the amount of tinned fish Lidl sell. And they wouldn't stock it if people didn't like it.

Tinned sardines on toast is a great quick lunch.
 
Thanks. I've been collecting money at work for it so I've got a fair old walk to spend
 
I like tinned sardines, but I also like tinned tuna so maybe I’m not the best judge of taste

I’ve got a proper Christmas smash up next Sunday but Mr Sheena has work the next day and so I’ve booked a hotel opposite my house so I can get home and not worry about waking anybody up whilst masturbating and taking the rest of my drugs… :disco:

As long as there’s no dreadful bones.

I did buy Tuna Pesto in Lidl yesterday. I’ll report back.
 
Nothing is worth buying the Daily Mail*, even £10 from Lidl.

(Apart from the weekend they gave that Kylie Live cd away that wasn’t otherwise released and I made a big deal of buying it, then throwing the paper back at the checkout girl in the Co-Op to UNIVERSAL disinterest :D :( )
