Great result!
I don't know the specific people being referred to, but either way it feels like a "Twitter isn't real life" thing.I presume no one is stupid enough not realise this was a GET THE TORIES moment.

I nearly came when I saw the result this morning.
FUCK OFF TORY SCUM

When he just had nearly half his backbenchers kick off over just having passports? Short of hospitals COLLAPSING BEFORE OUR EYES, he won't be able to get a lockdown through again as PM at all, even if we needed one!Fiver says the cunt imposes a lockdown tonight.

Yeah, that would definitely be on brand for him to use Covid for petty revenge.Fiver says the cunt imposes a lockdown tonight.

Interesting development. That being said Easther always struck me as a staunch Tory type!!View attachment 6962
I want to know if this means Vernie Bennett is a staunch anti-Tory or a secret anti-vaxxer!
Helen & Angela joint leadership please - we need this in our lives!!
I'm letting myself believe the tide has turned on Brexit based solely on last night's Question Time, when the audience sat in absolute silence whenever one of the panel mentioned a 'benefit' of Brexit. And I love that the Tories are still trying to play the Brexit card, and it's not working anymore. They "got Brexit done" after all, it's been a shitshow and now people are more concerned about not being governed by this corrupt, mendacious and out-of-touch regime.
I truly hope that all the opposition parties now recognise that there is only one zero sum game and that's KILL THE TORIES.

Well, let's not forget that the Lib Dems are still quite shit. They're just not Tory levels of shit.
For some seats the only choice is yellow or blue. I'll take yellow every time there.
Labour would have to need an even BIGGER lead in an election than they do in the polls currently for a Lab/Lib + Caroline Lucas government to cross the 326 line (I think?)I could 100% live with a Lab/Lib dem coalition, which is probably the only route to power either party has in the forseeable. I think in theory it could be a lot more functional than the Con/Lib coalition.
Fuck it, throw in the Greens as well. Enough of the Tories clinging to power by dividing and conquering. Progressive alliances are the future of the left wing whether the party leaders like it or not.
I doubt the SNP would enter the UK government properly though, it would be a Labour(/Lib Dem) minority government with the SNP supporting them on votes as long as they get a referendum.Labour would have to need an even BIGGER lead in an election than they do in the polls currently for a Lab/Lib + Caroline Lucas government to cross the 326 line (I think?)
I feel like a Lab/SNP is more likely on the assumption that IndyRef2 would be part of that.

Also Lisa Nandy just laid waste to everyone and I'm now a bit in love with her.
Even better than Lisa Nandy on QT was Fiona Bruce:
Fiona - "MAN at the back...."
Poor Lady - "IM A WOMAN ACTUALLY"

they might be inclined to try and SWEEP IT ALL UNDER THE CARPET

If the numbers allowed, the SNP would bring down any government that didn't give them an independence referendum. On current polling, to reach a majority in the house, it will require SNP support. Why would Labour ever do that though? SNP getting and winning another referendum would be curtains for Labour and any left wing government in the rest of the UK until they all form a unified party.
