Last Thursday, I Gave You My Heart

Time to get up and prep for the interview for the job I dont want
 
Have to go into the office for Chrimbo Chinese at dinner. I'm of half a mind to stir things up with the question "so how many applicants did you get for the manager job and have you interviewed anybody yet?" assuming boss or niece doesn't mention it beforehand. They've been very Secret Squirrel about it but they should know by now that I'm a super sleuth, I discovered it a month ago when I was looking for jobs. :D

My perfect Christmas prezzie from work would be redundancy but that isn't going to happen.

I think big ron has his interview today but he's probably not going to take it.

They can't do anything with the ribs, I just need to rest as much as I can and they will self-heal. I must avoid any lifting of any weight at all, not even groceries, or the laptop or the cat and just stay as much still as possible and avoid all movement that will stress the left side of the body. The pain will be gone in about 40-50 days but I will be taking painkillers until then. I will see another doctor tomorrow just in case this one missed sth but overall am very happy that none of the organs inside were hit. The ribs did their job. My mom is severely pissed at the news though, acts as if I have destroyed her masterpiece. :D
 
I broke a rib before. I slipped over on a dancefloor in MY BEER THAT I'D SPILT.

I didn’t even bother with hospital, there's fuck all you can do. My sympathy. It will get better if you don't fuck around.
 
I think I am FINALLY prepped for Christmas, having secured an Aldi fake turkey thing and having wrapped my final presents. Weight off my shoulders.
 
Oh HOLD ON, 10 seconds after typing that, I STILL HAVEN'T ICED THE FUCKING CAKE!

Though I did make my own marzipan, so...
