It's one of those songs you know you love as soon as you hear it the first time, but I got tired of it soon enough.

I remember the first snippet we heard was the WEE-OOO-WEE-OOO climax bit and I knew immediately this would be something else

The middle eight is fantastic. The rest of the song is solid, but just not as good.
 
This song is much elevated live for me, but ticks all the classic Kylie boxes so it's a general 10 from me.
 
It should also be said that the video is one of my all times faves. It's bloody beautiful.
 
Her last proper hit, really. I remember listening to it for the first time and ACTUALLY WELLING UP, it was that good. Time has wearied its charms a little, but it's still a bonafide ten, without a doubt
 
I still get goosebumps listening to the middle 8.
 
I can see why this is appreciated, and I loved the whole look for the video, but in all honestly I prefer the Kylie by numbers GOMW :disco:

Get Outta My Way was good, but I fall everytime for the overflowing euphoria of All The Lovers.
 
I remember the excitement for this album and the build up - I think she performed it first on Germany's Next Top Model and just looked MAGESTIC and like a worldwide popstar. She lost that again with KMO.
 
I found this a bit boring when it came out but maybe I was in one of my DARK PLACES

I find it a bit tiring and possibly meaningless to talk about favourite songs because it’s always changing and it sort of stigmatises the song somehow.

That being said, this could WELL BE IT. Perfect production from Price, that iconic sexpile video, Kylie has never looked so beautiful as her releasing the dove at the end. A true goddess blessing her sex cult, that’s much better a statement of Aphrodite than the yas queen werk on-the-nose title track
 
My 8 for this feels a bit HARSH. I'm upgrading it to a 9 based on that HEAVENLY Glasto performance.

ah! the disco mosquito song. it's lost a bit of its magic for me, but i still love.
