I know it's a bit 'nobody ever talks about Hitler's paintings...' but it is true that under Blair homelessness hit record lows, gay rights came on absolute leaps and bounds, we got a minimum wage, extensive devolution and actual investment in the NHS. Basically everything the Tories have since done their utmost to undo.

He's also a terrible smarmy cunt, and personally I don't really think Labour politicians should accept these ridiculous 'honours', but he got stuff done.
