Best selling album of the year in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Plus one of the Belgian ones, but I can't remember if it was Flanders or Wallonia.

And I imagine it was probably #1 for the year in Sweden as well, but I haven't seen confirmation of it. But it was #1 from release until the end of the year, apart from the one week it yielded to Adele. So I assume unless there was a big seller from earlier in the year there, it should have it.

It's not THAT impressive - I think it's at 1.6/1.7m globally. Which means over 50% of the sales have come from the UK and Germany combined.

So that puts it at approx 1.1m - I guess 0.7m from the rest of the world is reasonably easily imagined.
