I know we all love a box set but 9CDs does lead to a certain amount of over-repetition.

There y'go, how's THAT for a first world problem?
 
We're in Lyme Regis today and it's ridiculously busy. I know the sun's out and everything, but it's as busy as I've seen places in the middle of summer :o we struggled to even park.

Just been for a big walk round some hills, putting a roast on and watching football. How delightfully suburban.

Mandy didn't want to be in the centre for some reason..I mean it's ok, we have free parking, it's quiet, we have a premier plus room with a Nespresso machine that doesn't work :square:

Is Cribbs not a nice area?
 
I HATE napping. I always feel worse after and then it fucks up my sleep the next night

It's just a NOTHING area! An out of town road surrounded by nothing but car showrooms and leisure facilities. There's a large shopping mall there if you fancy it tomorrow. We rarely go as it's so far out of town, and we're the other side anyway. Plus it's very nineties and I always found it a little soulless even before retail collapsed.

I assumed you were heading home after Axminster, but presumably not if you're now in Gloucestershire. Where are you headed next?

Omg so many car show rooms! I'm sure that's why Mandy booked it :rolleyes:

We aren't leaving the hotel tonight tho, and tomorrow we're going to Origin Workspace for a Rolys conference. Then heading home tomorrow night :(

That's really central, isn't it? I remember looking it up when you mentioned it a few weeks back. You probably would have had to pay a premium for parking if you stayed centrally though. And I guess it's a Sunday so there wouldn't be THAT much to do.

You're pretty close to the Wild Place Project, if you could squeeze it in.

It was probably easier for you to get there than me. I know when it first opened it always seemed to be full of Welsh people as it was so convenient for the then recently opened Second Severn Crossing.

Did you used to make a day out of it and go to the Vue Warner Village?

Yeah we're the right side of Glos too. Oh we were never that extravagant, made do with the old Cineworld next to what is now the quays !

Cribbs did always have the nicest branch of John Lewis though. But now the ones in Cardiff and Cheltenham are better.

Yeah I think parking was partly why we've booked Cribbs. Plus Mandy is precious about her stupid car so it has to be a secure car park :square:

Oh we went past signs for the Wild Place project and I googled it! I really want to go but this conference is on all day then we have the ferry to get :(

Erm... apparently finding somewhere to park. But I have no idea where. Rolys suggested somewhere but Mandy didn't like the look of it :argh:

I think the nearest NCP is temporarily closed. There's another at Trenchard St, which I guess may be the one Roly's recommended. College St is equally close, but it's very uphill from there. Good luck if you're going to try on street car parking. It's in one of the residential parking scheme areas.

Trenchard St is where Rolys suggested. Any idea what Millennium square is like for parking?

I'd imagine it's probably one of the safest, if that's her main concern. It will be about a 15 minute walk uphill from there to where you're headed.
