I'm not quite sure about the reaction it inspires in me aside from it clearly being the work of two women not exactly having the greatest time life could offer and not really knowing what they're doing but trying their best regardless with weirdly and questionably fabulous results

Kim also experienced burnout and depression during her time with the musical duo Nina & Kim, but still managed to transition into other media endeavors. For many years, she co-hosted the lottery ticket program Postkodmiljonären alongside fellow former singer Sandra Dahlberg. Later, she pursued a degree in journalism, which led to her working as a radio host from 2011 onwards across various programs until 2022. In the later stages of her career, Nina & Kim returned to performing, taking the stage at festivals and weddings as a legacy act.
However, by the end of 2022, symptoms of burnout resurfaced for Kim. She began to forget things, misplace items, and even experienced a blackout during a live broadcast. This led her to take long-term sick leave. On March 22, 2023, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
Kim has since expressed that she will be unable to continue working in a traditional job. Despite this, she aims to make the most of her life by dedicating time to music and her family. Her approach to slowing the disease involves staying active and social. She finds that creating music and writing help clear her mind.
In an interview with Bohusläningen, Kim emphasized the importance of spending time with her loved ones.
"I want to make the most of my time. I want to choose the right things to focus on. We've just gotten a puppy, Rufus, a Golden Retriever. I love animals, and I love dogs. I've been without a dog for five or six years. Now I wanted to experience that again. We’re also about to become grandparents. There's so much for me to experience."

Gosh how terribly sad. She isn't even fifty yet, to get Alzheimer's that young is absolutely brutal.

Nina is doing well nowadays; she has a standard job as an administrator for the Swedish military.
I'm glad they got to perform one final time on the Melodifestivalen stage just before Kim was diagnosed.
