First he says a song is like Natalie Imbruglia and gives it a 6, and now THIS!
I watched the first scores coming in and thought “careful…”
I immediately turn temporarily straight in response to the mere mention of YDNY so don’t feel at all trolledOh LordI watched the first scores coming in and thought “careful…”
but then YDNY’s zero is just trolling the LGBTQ+ community, PURE AND SIMPLE

this is a STRAIGHT UP LIE!Yeah I never got Your Disco Needs You. I’m with @funky on most of these scores anyway. The album is pretty bad aside from most of the singles, Butterfly and Light Years.
this is a STRAIGHT UP LIE!
I took a break from abusing you @OutSynk but I'll buy a Range Rover just to run you over and CALL YOU OUT!
there's not. but Kylie Ann is not! It’s not like there’s anything wrong with being a SINGLES ARTIST![]()
KY-ONICThere's a fantastic extended version of Light Years on the Showgirl Homecoming tour where halfway through she takes an unexpected diversion into your other favourite... Turn It Into Love![]()
Say Something is fantastic thoughIf we are talking beige, and nothing is sacred any more, I’m going to have to come out and say I think “Disco” is depressingly ordinary
I think it was but was it disco?Say Something is fantastic though
Was that on Disco?
I think it was but was it disco?
Oh is it time for that argument again?
Say Something is fantastic though
Was that on Disco?
BETTER OUT THAN INI was going to say that I took against Light Years when I first bought it, but I was 18 and it was definitely mostly “oh god it’s too gay don’t let anyone hear how poofy a CD you bought” type of internalised homophobia.
But I thought that might not be helpful to post so I didn’t

BETTER OUT THAN IN
For myself I’ve never had an issue with things being “too poofy”. In fact I bought the 12” of Divine’s ‘You Think You’re A Man’ whilst on a field study with school and merrily popped it on and pranced around to it at DISCO TIME![]()
We expect better from you.Lol oh oh did I besmirch this thread by saying “Say Something” was alright?

Ooo UPSIDE DOWNI do remember blasting out A*Teens Upside Down the following spring so I guess I got over it to some extent.
British snobbery about music is one thing I really don’t miss out here. (I can’t entirely avoid it, mind you!)
