I get to attend my first in person parents evening today, which is wild considering ron jr is nearly 10
 
It’s two years to the day since uni closed due to COVID and I dashed home not knowing when we’d go into lockdown :):):)
 
My car has been covered in red-brown dust/dirt since Tuesday evening. ❤️

Tuesday evening actually looked quite spooky with the orange tinted-sky.

Two years for me too, I remember because I picked up my new glasses and went out for dinner with ZG the night before, then the next morning we got emails from work saying DON'T COME IN :o I just looked up the email from the opticians to check the date :eyes:

Same, but there were already rumors about a possible lockdown. And there were already several shortages in the supermarkets, you couldn't find gloves and masks, you couldn't even find bleach or dettol, and I was worried that if all business shut down, the next shortages will be on food. And there were the stories of people dying in Bergamo and left in their apartments because no one would bury them and I thought that if we're put in a lockdown things will turn nasty, and if I get it and die am gonna be left here all alone to decompose. So I packed my things in panic and left the next day.
 
This made me check my March 2020 calendar. For some reason, I think I did not make it to the play, birthday party, and flight to Boston scheduled for the last two weeks

Discovered earlier this week that a biography of my great uncle was published in January. Bought it (via the moopy link, naturally) and have just had a little look at the start, where my grandad and other family members may be mentioned. I think I may be from even MORE impoverished stock than I originally thought :shock:
 
I’m finally done working for the week and going to New York in a few hours! All I can bring is a backpack because I’m flying on the shittiest airline ever

I spent quite a long time having FAIRLY REGULAR SEX with someone who wasn't IN Clannad but played with them.

Apparently HER OUT OF CLANNAD and ENYA aren't the BEST OF FRIENDS

I saw Lou Sanders on Sunday and had a similar experience. First comedy gig for a few years. Amazing.
 
I’m super early to the airport, there was no line at security, and my flight has been delayed
