Your Moopy lockdown highlights

Also me getting it in my head that [the artist later known as ZenGiraffe] in fact WAS Soldi, and having a brief moment of obsessively tracking post and login times to try and catch him out :basil:
 
Well being in lockdown led to me lurking more, which led to me starting to post, so I guess THAT
 
We never had any proper lockdown here, even if we were at home most of the time.

That whole first half year of ”lockdown era” was the worst in my life because my mother got cancer and then passed away. I know I come off as such a whiney, negative bitch but Moopy was a really nice distraction from that harsh reality and I really enjoyed things like ASFM and the scavenger hunt. ❤️
 
For me it’s the times when I could do stuff with you lot in real time. I especially like the zoom calls that I can join after waking up and come across as fairly alert while everyone else is running on fumes. But it really feels as close to a moopmeet as I’m likely to get.

I said it up thread but there was one night where I did the Eurovision Again and the spontaneous rewatch of an even older one - I was absolutely steaming and do not remember a whole chunk of my posts but it was the most fun I;d had in front of a computer in forever. Absolute quality.

My highlights have been the ASFM events which I never thought I’d be a regular in and I do really like the banshee syncs with the usual crew.

Yes the increasingly unhinged video accompaniments to all the events have been particular highlights.
 
Someone once asked me for a humiliating video which I just assumed would be part of one of their video spectaculars, but I think it was just for the (sick individual’s) personal collection.
 
I liked watching old Kylie and Madonna concerts with a bottle of GROTTY LEMON CIDER :disco:

I did a few sync listens which were great fun: Club 1994, Dance Anthems and Gay Night. Also a couple of artist ones. Least we not forget the Eurovision Hot 100.

Obviously peak ASFM was a major regular highlight. As were the other high profile events. Moopy saved me during lockdown.

I also loved the grand return of ASFM thanks to @Ag and all our wonderful subsequent hosts.

My first victory remains one of life’s major accomplishments. :disco:
