What Are You Watching? 2022 (1 Viewer)

It’s crazy that every series has between 6 and 10 episodes except for the fifth which has 25!

Has anyone saw the advert on BBC for The Split? What is the song that is played please?

I have not seen the advert yet but glad this is back tomorrow. A nice surprise, I love this

Loved the first episode of Split S3

Was a bit :( for a Monday night though.

This is all on iplayer isn't. I don't know whether to binge or to keep it for Monday nights the OLD FASHIONED WAY

I have never watched The Split for some strange reason. I am going to rectify that RIGHT NOW.

I wonder how they managed to get Brenda Fricker out of retirement to guest in Holding, or is it just movies she has retired from?

Yes I will start from Series One. Is it a bit of a slow burner?

I wouldn't say that, but I definitely really started to get into it by Series 2 - the dynamic of the different sisters is good. Its a good mix of entertaining with some serious messages and decent acting

I find The Split a little too soapy for my tastes.

I quite enjoy The Split, and Damien Molony, the handsome cad.

Not the best at breaking bad news Nicola Walker though.

I felt the last series, especially the Donna Air plot, verged on a Hotel Babylon type affair for a Law firm, but it has so many other dimensions, I am here for it

Hullraisers - safe to say that Channel 4 haven't found the next Derry Girls.

BBC2's House of Maxwell documentary series featuring a ridiculously dramatic voice-over from Shaun Dooley.

I do love Lucy Beaumont, so I must remember to check Hullraisers out.

I’ve just started Outlander. I think I may be here for a while with over 60 episodes to watch.

Just sat through Hard Cell on Netflix, terminally unfunny apart from one amusing gag in the first episode. At least they're short episodes.

What do you think of The Split REET? I am racing through S3 its just so easy watching

Oh I didn’t actually get round to watching it darling. I have recorded it all, but forgot about it. Saved for a rainy day.

It is obviously intended for a much younger audience but Heartstopper on Netflix is very sweet. I'm halfway through and while the glowing reviews have brushed over some obviously inexperienced performances it is so charming.

Old Enough

It’s a Japanese show, I think, on Netflix. It has English subtitles.

@Diddy - do you watch it?

Wtf is it that hidden camera show with little kids? The trailer looked … I don’t even know!

Why of all things? :D

Gooped at Bake Off Japan suddenly appearing on Amazon Prime (no English subs at my end though, maybe there are in other areas)

It does drive me mad that some shows on Netflix have English subtitles in the previews but they’re not available in Japan - even the descriptions are in English, WTF WHY CANT I USE THEM

Yes, it’s the show where little children go off on their own to perform errands. It’s cute!
